Bene & Lukas

We are two students from Munich and together we developed the frischluft window sill at the beginning of 2023. Our mission is to simplify ventilation. In his role as a passionate inventor, Bene attaches great importance to a long-lasting and well-thought-out product. For Lukas, a first-class customer experience and sustainability are paramount.

The idea

Necessity is the mother of invention

We love plants and our windowsills are always completely blocked. Nevertheless, we wanted to open the windows completely to allow for good oxygen exchange and prevent mold. This became so frustrating that a solution had to be found, but how?

The team

Only in a good team can ideas really mature

Lukas and Bene know each other from their studies, even though they both study business administration and mechanical engineering. The perfect combination for the project.

Development

Many months of product development and dozens of 3D printing prototypes

After dozens of 3D printing attempts, we have slowly reached our goal: an easy-to-install floating window sill that anyone can easily hang on any window.

The patent

We have filed a patent application for the frischluft window sill with the DPMA

We are proud of our long development and the result and have therefore submitted it for a patent to the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA).

Customers are often surprised at how stable the frischluft is, even though it is "only" mounted. This is because, as they say in technology, it is "positively connected" to the window; this means that once it has been installed, it cannot be removed in any direction.
